“There are so many details or nuances that we hadn't thought of but Stephen and his crew always had.”
We were referred to Nestworks by neighbours who'd had a good experience. After meeting with several contractors, we decided on Stephen because we loved the house he'd done down the block and, with kids close in age to ours, we felt he understood what we needed and were looking for.
Ours was a challenging re-build: a 1914 home on a small lot near Jericho with little space between neighbouring houses and no lane or rear access. It was stripped down to the studs, lifted for a new foundation, and completely re-built as new. We were fortunate to be renting nearby so were able to stop by (rather obsessively) virtually every day. We really appreciated that even with the unknowns of renovating an old house, there was always something happening and virtually no downtime. From getting the permits to giving us the keys, it ended up being completely right on schedule (very fortunately in hindsight as it allowed us to get in just before the quarantine!)
We'd never done anything like this before so didn't really know what we were getting ourselves into. There are so many details or nuances that we hadn't thought of but Stephen/his crew always had. All the people on site were great and despite the neighbouring houses all being close by, we never had any complaints.
Most importantly, we love our house. We plan to live here a very long time and are grateful for what a beautiful job Nestworks did with it. We've already referred multiple friends to Stephen and are happy to do so again here.

We recently built a new home in Vancouver with Nestworks and were very happy with the team, the process, and the final product...
We were referred to Nestworks by some friends who had recently built a new home. After speaking with Stephen and a few other builders about the process and budget, we decided to work with Stephen and the Nestworks team.
Stephen was very easy to work with - we were speaking with him on almost a daily basis when the project ramped up! He was very good at listening to our vision, wish list items and issues as they arose. He's very creative and came up with some great solutions to various issues (we built during COVID, so there was no shortage of surprises along the way). He was available consistently throughout the project, and always returned calls/texts right away - and would meet us in person to discuss more complicated topics when needed. The subcontractors were all very efficient and professional, and our site manager Aaron was especially great to work with as well.
We've been in our new house now for a couple of months and are thrilled with it! If we ever decide to build again, we'll be calling on Nestworks for sure!
